CLOSM i Child Safety Standards
This page publishes the standards and procedures that CLOSM LLC (the "Company") applies to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in "CLOSM i" (iOS / Android / Web), the app and service provided by the Company. The Company has zero tolerance for CSAE and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
This page describes how the Company operates under Articles 2, 8, 9 and 12 of the Terms of Service (including the revision taking effect on October 20, 2026) and does not change the Terms of Service. If anything on this page differs from the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.
1. Definitions
- CSAE (child sexual abuse and exploitation): content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, and trafficking a child for sex.
- CSAM (child sexual abuse material): any visual depiction of a child engaging in sexually explicit conduct, including photos, videos, and computer-generated images.
2. Prohibited Conduct
CLOSM i prohibits the following everywhere on the Service, including posts (titles, descriptions and images of Emotions), comments, and profiles (username, display name, bio and icon):
- Posting, sharing, storing or linking to CSAM, and requesting or soliciting it
- Posting content that sexually depicts children or treats them as sexual objects, including computer-generated content
- Grooming a child (approaching or luring a child in order to build a sexual relationship)
- Sexually extorting a child, or requesting sexual images from a child
- Trafficking of a child for sex, or soliciting or brokering it
- Contacting or soliciting a child for sexual contact or an in-person meeting
Such conduct is treated as a violation of Article 8 (Prohibited Activities) of the Terms of Service, or as content that relates to the sexual exploitation of minors under Article 9, Paragraph 3, Item 3.
3. How to Report
- In the app (iOS / Android): Open another user's profile, tap the "⋮" menu, choose "Report", select a reason (Spam / Harassment or hate / Inappropriate content / Other) and submit. You can report without leaving the app. Reports are sent to the Company's moderation team. In app version 1.0.0 (build 6) and later, you can also report an Emotion from the "…" menu ("Report this Emotion") and a comment from its "Report" action. In earlier builds, reports in the app target users (profiles). If you find a problematic post or comment, please report its author from the author's profile.
- On the web: Sign in, then choose "Report" from the "â‹®" menu of a profile or an Emotion, or use the "Report" button on a comment, select a reason and submit.
- By email: You can also send child-safety concerns to the contact below.
- Block: Choose "Block" from the same "â‹®" menu to hide that user's Emotions and comments from your screens.
4. How the Company Responds
- The Company reviews each report within 24 hours of receipt (Terms of Service, Article 9, Paragraph 5).
- When a violation is confirmed, the Company deletes or unpublishes the content and restricts, suspends or deregisters the account (Terms of Service, Articles 9 and 12), which may be done without prior notice.
- Text made public through the Service (comments, usernames, display names, bios, post titles and descriptions, and similar) may be checked automatically for inappropriate expressions when submitted or changed, and may be declined. This check is not exhaustive (Terms of Service, Article 9, Paragraph 2).
- Profile images are checked automatically when uploaded, and inappropriate images are not stored. This check is not exhaustive.
- Images delivered through the Service are matched against known child sexual abuse material. This matching is not exhaustive.
- When the Company obtains actual knowledge of CSAM, it preserves the related records in accordance with applicable law and then promptly removes it, and reports it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or another competent authority. The Company responds to inquiries from authorities in accordance with applicable law.
5. Age Requirements
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older (from October 20, 2026; until that date, 13 and older), and we ask for your date of birth when you create an account (Terms of Service, Article 2). Where required by law, the Company may restrict some users' access based on the age range or parental consent information provided by the app stores. If a user who does not meet the minimum age is found to be using the Service, the Company may restrict use or deregister the account (Terms of Service, Article 12).
